AIMSWeb Spring 2026 Release
This article summarizes the new features and notable improvements delivered to AIMSWeb in the Spring 2026 Release.
Accessibility — A Major Focus This Release
AIMSWeb received a comprehensive accessibility overhaul to better meet ADA and WCAG guidelines:
- Screen reader support — dynamic messages and the "Please Wait" indicator now announce themselves, and form fields, buttons, selections, and tables are properly labeled so assistive technology can describe them accurately.
- Keyboard navigation & focus — clear, high-contrast focus indicators on fields, navigation links, and text areas; the page now scrolls to bring a focused element into view; a more logical tab order through tables and forms; and modals return focus to the control that opened them.
- High-contrast & forced-color modes — supported throughout, with focus highlights meeting a 3:1 contrast ratio based on your branding colors.
- Zoom support — tables and forms no longer hide content when zoomed in, including above 200%.
- WCAG-compliant tooltips — tooltips work with dynamic content, can be dismissed with the Escape key, and meet WCAG guidelines.
- Improved autofill — credit card name fields now use standard given-name / family-name autocomplete values.
